'Aquilegia' Songbird Cardinal Red-White Bi-Color Columbine Seeds

ℹ Songbird Cardinal Red Columbine features large, long-spurred, upward-facing, red and white bi-colored blooms on compact, bushy plants. Flowers are 3-inches and bloom for 4 to 6 weeks in late spring to early summer! Columbines are easy to grow and thrive in moist, well-drained soils. Full sun is okay in northern gardens; afternoon shade is preferred in southern gardens. 

Planting Instructions:

Plant the columbine seeds in moist soil in a warm, sunny indoor location. It will take the seeds about 30 days to germinate. The seedlings need 16 hours of light, so a grow light is recommended. Once the seedlings develop a pair of true leaves and have reached 3 to 4 inches tall, pot them up into larger containers. Harden off the plants for two weeks before transplanting them in the garden.
